Dare Software Ltd is a UK-based consultancy founded and owned by Lee Dowthwaite, a software consultant of almost 20 years' experience. My past clients have included major blue-chip companies such as Research In Motion, LG Electronics, Sharp, Analog Devices, Intel, NEC, British Telecom and Siemens.

In particular, my consultancy roles have over the last 10 years brought me into close contact with mobile handset manufacturers and software providers worldwide, and I am able to deal with demanding customers in high-pressure situations. In this time I have worked closely with many of the major players in the GSM and telecommunications sector, in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

In terms of programming, my core languages are C/C++, assembler and Java. In addition to this I am an advocate of the power of modern scripting languages, notably Ruby, Perl and Python. And in terms of sheer creativity, Flash/ActionScript is hard to beat.
